UKA Transportation LLC was founded in 2009. We are veteran owned and a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), with current SBA certification.
Our strongest direct operation is Chicago intermodal container drayage. Company tractors and private chassis capacity support import/export containers, local and regional moves, pre-pulls, live unloads, drop & hook, empty returns and chassis moves/splits.
We also handle storage, transload/warehousing, final-mile/container delivery and specialized freight. Nationwide and out-of-market capacity is supported by the carrier and partner network we have built alongside the Chicago operation.

Our direct Chicago operation
We regularly work BNSF Logistics Park Chicago in Elwood, UP Global IV in Joliet, CSX 59th Street, CSX Bedford Park, CN/Harvey and Norfolk Southern/Chicago-area ramps as required. Our surrounding market includes Bensenville, Blue Island and nearby suburbs.
20-foot, 40-foot and 40-foot high-cube containers are part of our confirmed capability. Dispatch planning connects the ramp, chassis, receiver and empty-return requirements.
Nationwide capacity, clearly defined
UKA supports dry van, flatbed/step deck, heavy haul and oversized/project freight, transload, warehousing and final mile. We use established carriers and partners for nationwide and out-of-market work; we do not imply company terminals or a local fleet in every service market.
Specialized and hazmat work is subject to commodity, equipment, documentation, driver qualifications and approval. Refrigerated transportation is not a core advertised service.
