UKA Transportation LLC has been in transportation since 2009. Our Chicago company-truck operation is backed by nationwide capacity through an established carrier and partner network.
Match the equipment to the freight
We handle dry van freight, flatbed and step deck work, and container transportation. Specialized loads are reviewed for their actual dimensions, weight, loading method, and equipment requirements.
- Dry van for truckload freight.
- Flatbed and step deck for loads requiring an open-deck solution.
- Container transportation connected to rail ramps, ports, transload and delivery.
Direct Chicago operation; nationwide network
Chicago is our core asset-based market, with company tractors and private chassis capacity. For nationwide and out-of-market work, we also use our established carrier and partner network. Equipment and service arrangements are confirmed for each shipment.
Information dispatch needs
Provide exact pickup and delivery locations, commodity, dimensions and weight, dates, loading equipment, and any site access restrictions. Let us know whether a receiver requires an appointment or a particular unloading arrangement.
Related transportation services
For dedicated or shared truck space, see FTL & LTL. For rail/container work, start with Chicago intermodal drayage.
Cargo acceptance
Hazmat or other specialized freight is subject to the commodity, documentation, equipment, driver qualifications, and UKA approval. We do not broadly offer every hazardous-material class. Refrigerated or temperature-controlled transportation is not advertised as a core UKA service.
Questions about this service
Do you operate your own trucks?
Yes, in Chicago. Our nationwide and out-of-market capacity also uses our carrier and partner network; we do not imply company trucks are based in every service market.
What equipment can I request?
Dry van, flatbed, step deck and container transportation are supported. Heavy haul and oversized/project freight require a load-specific review.
Is every lane available on demand?
We confirm capacity and equipment for the requested origin, destination and date. Listing a market does not guarantee a particular dispatch slot.
Request a quote with the pickup and delivery locations, cargo details, and required dates. For container work, include the ramp or terminal, container size, loaded weight, availability, last free day if known, and receiving appointment requirements.
