Inland transport for air freight

UKA Transportation LLC supports the inland transportation side of air shipments. We are not an airline, ocean carrier or NVOCC. Our role is to connect freight with its inland pickup, warehouse/transload stage and delivery destination.

Ground transportation connected to an air shipment

If your shipment travels by air, send the cargo facility pickup or delivery location, release and receiving information, commodity, dimensions, weight and required timing. The road equipment and handling arrangements are reviewed against that request.

Warehousing, transload and onward capacity

We support dry van, flatbed/step deck, specialized freight review, and warehousing/transload as appropriate to the inland move. Do not assume that an air-shipment request includes flight booking, air-carrier service, customs clearance or a guaranteed flight connection.

Where UKA operates

Chicago is our core asset-based market, with company tractors and private chassis capacity. For nationwide and out-of-market work, we also use our established carrier and partner network. Equipment and service arrangements are confirmed for each shipment.

Confirm special handling before dispatch

Hazmat or other specialized freight is subject to the commodity, documentation, equipment, driver qualifications, and UKA approval. We do not broadly offer every hazardous-material class. Refrigerated or temperature-controlled transportation is not advertised as a core UKA service.

Questions about this service

Is UKA an airline or air carrier?

No. UKA’s confirmed strength is the inland transportation side of international freight. Air carriage and flight arrangements are separate from our ground transportation scope.

What air-related work can I request?

Ground pickup or delivery, onward road transportation, and warehousing/transload requirements connected to an air shipment. Provide the facility location and handling/release details.

Can you guarantee a flight connection?

We do not advertise guaranteed flight connections. Inland timing depends on cargo release, the actual facility requirements and confirmed transport arrangements.
