Freight preparation and handling review

Logistics services built around the shipment

A transportation plan should identify the cargo, equipment and receiving requirements before quoting a route. UKA’s core direct operation is Chicago container drayage, supported by nationwide carrier capacity.

UKA operating scope

Container drayage can connect a rail ramp with a receiver, storage or transload. A domestic leg may instead need dry van, flatbed or step deck equipment. These are different operating requirements, not interchangeable keywords.

Confirm the requirements

Share the locations, cargo dimensions and weight, dates and loading requirements. Refrigerated service is not a core UKA offering; specialized or hazmat work needs commodity, equipment and driver-qualification approval.
