Freight preparation and handling review

Plan the inland side of an export shipment

An export shipment needs a clear handoff between its origin, inland transport, release facility and international transport provider. UKA’s role is strongest in the inland transportation stages.

UKA operating scope

We support container transportation, port/rail drayage, transload, warehousing and onward road capacity. Provide the specific facilities, cargo dimensions and weight, required dates and handling information when requesting the inland move.

Confirm the requirements

UKA is not an airline, ocean carrier or NVOCC and does not claim to act as a customs broker. Confirm ocean/air carriage and customs arrangements with the responsible provider; do not infer refrigerated capability from a general export example.
