Handle the full container sequence
A direct delivery, pre-pull, storage move and empty return each have different timing and equipment requirements. We handle live unloads, drop & hook, chassis moves/splits, storage, transload/warehousing and container delivery. Send availability, release details, loaded weight, receiver appointment and empty-return instructions with the request.
Beyond a single ramp
Our surrounding operating market includes Elwood, Joliet, Bedford Park, Harvey, Bensenville, Blue Island and nearby suburbs. Chicago also connects to UKA’s broader nationwide carrier/partner capacity; that network does not mean UKA owns terminals in every other market.
Request transportation in Chicago intermodal
Send the pickup and delivery locations, commodity, dimensions or container size, loaded weight and requested dates. Identify any ramp/terminal, release requirements, receiving appointment, handling restrictions and return instructions that apply.
Specialized or hazmat freight requires review of the commodity, documentation, equipment and driver qualifications before approval. Refrigerated or temperature-controlled service is not offered as a core UKA capability.
